With Catch, self-employed individuals can now automatically channel their income – for free — toward taxes, retirement, and savings, while also gaining access to inexpensive health insurance. In addition, catch pioneered a new sector within financial services when it launched in 2018 with a suite of financial services for freelancers and the self-employed.
Since the outbreak, there's been a major change in the American work market, with over 47 million individuals expected to leave their occupations by 2021. In addition, according to a recent study by a Catch partner, 59 million Americans would need a freelancer, with 20percent exploring full-time freelance work – a trend Catch expects to continue.
"At Catch, we are building for a different world of work, where you do not need to be dependent on an employer to receive access to essential financial services," said Andrew Ambrosino, co-founder and CPO/CTO of Catch. "We are creating a true financial safety net, securing the future for those who follow their passion."
The Catch logo color, a bright cerise-purple, contrasts with orange, teal, magenta, and lime, reflecting the Catch product's four principles: taxes, retirement investments, savings, and health care. In addition, the corporation minted NFTs of the brand colors and product iconography.
"The future of work is here, and it is your employer — in charge of when, where, and how you work," said Kristen Anderson, co-founder and CEO of Catch. "More and more people are moving towards value and passion-based work. The new brand visually reflects the evolution of Catch, but also the evolution of work itself."
