Businessolver completed various key updates to its COVID-19 Tracker, which is already embedded in its proprietary Benefitsolver® system, to stay on top of workplace safety and in preparation for President Biden's Sept. 9 mandate requiring employers with 100 or more employees to track employees' vaccine and testing status.
The COVID-19 Tracker now tracks weekly testing, with the option to upload results, as well as exemption status and documentation for both religious and medical exemptions, in addition to its mid-year 2021 release that captured vaccination status, type, and dates. Employers who want to incorporate the Tracker into their benefits enrollment process may do so and provide credits/levy surcharges based on members' vaccination status. Finally, as members navigate the Tracker, Businessolver's virtual benefits assistant SofiaSM can answer questions about each of these features.

Personalized Navigation Enhances Members' Health Care Decision-Making
In a survey of employees utilizing Businessolver's platform, more than 65 percent said it was "most useful" to have year-round advantages engagement rather than just benefits enrollment/selection support. This fall, Businessolver introduced its Personalized Navigation suite of tools, which includes Activation Paths, to support this user preference.
When employees require health care services, such as booking an appointment, processing a claim, or managing a chronic condition, Personalized Navigation connects them with their advantages. Through personalized alerts and nudges, employees are further engaged to activate non-electable benefits such as telemedicine, cost-transparency tools, and employee assistance plans via Activation Paths. Early adopters of Businessolver's Care Navigation tool are already seeing a +30 percent increase in employee engagement; 2022 will see continued growth for Businessolver's Personalized Navigation suite, including its Claims-Based Personalization tool, which provides member-specific communications based on health care cues.
