Fremont, CA: BambooHR is the world's leading HR and payroll platform for growing businesses. They are on a mission to empower nearly three million employees across over 27,000 organizations by providing intuitive HR tools, insights, and support to help them create an extraordinary employee experience. Ben Peterson and Ryan Sanders launched the company in 2008, creating a values-focused, award-winning internal culture that served as inspiration for BambooHR's products and services.
"I am honored to join BambooHR as its next Chief Product Officer, and I look forward to working with our tremendous customers, partners, and product and engineering teams to continue to grow our ecosystem of innovative products," said Crofts. "In past roles, I had the opportunity to develop a deep appreciation for HR and people leaders, and I believe BambooHR has an opportunity to build solutions that address the many evolving challenges our customers face each day."
BambooHR appointed Brian Crofts as its new Chief Product Officer. Ryan Sanders, co-founder and outgoing CPO, will step down from day-to-day operations after 14 years to spend his time and attention as co-chair of the company's board of directors.
Crofts is a seasoned product expert with extensive experience bringing B2B solutions to market, emphasizing team and business growth. He held CPO positions at both Auditboard and Pendo. Before joining Pendo, he worked for Intuit for 11 years, creating well-known products such as QuickBooks and TurboTax Personal Pro Business.
It can be challenging for many small and medium-sized enterprises to manage day-to-day operations with an increasingly demanding personnel retention climate. BambooHR fills a void in the market. BambooHR addresses a market need for these companies by offering an affordable HR solution with features they'll utilize. BambooHR leads the market with over 27,000 customers and will continue to develop products that will position the company as a trusted partner to HR and business executives.
BambooHR has expanded five times in the previous five years to become a profitable, self-sustaining company with yearly recurring revenue of more than $100 million. Crofts' appointment follows the recent appointments of Justin Judd as CFO and Anita Grantham as head of people.
